La Plaza de Bolívar, en Bogotá, fue el escenario para la ceremonia de transmisión de mando presidencial 2022-2026. Gustavo Petro Urrego se posesionó como Presidente de Colombia, junto a su fórmula vicepresidencial, Francia Márquez.
Durante su discurso, el Presidente Petro hizo un llamado a que los colombianos terminemos con la violencia y el conflicto armado y nos unamos para trabajar juntos por la paz, la igualdad y el bienestar para todos.
La jornada estuvo marcada por la presencia de los ciudadanos en las calles y los escenarios que se dispusieron en las diferentes regiones del país para que todos los colombianos pudieran seguir paso a paso el evento.
